A Path to Freedom

Another surprise this morning, better this one. Someone made the wished for path and we can leave to go to Halifax. We've got a party to attend tonight.

In a last minute effort yesterday afternoon, we managed to pull the dock out of the water and secure it on top of the raft. It was not easy and everyone had to get involved.

Despite encountering a blizzard on our way to Halifax with the highway being blocked again, we made it safely to Margo's to take a well deserved shower (3 days without one is the limit for some folks).

We had a lovely meal at OPA! to celebrate Mrs. Cool's birthday with her family.
