I have to confess.

I am a proper geek at heart.

So I couldn't really resist the new Google tablet. Apple seem to have hobbled my poor old ipad 1 with their latest updates. It crashes to desktop 4 or 5 times a day, which is not good if I'm trying to show a portfolio to a client. So, especially with the the excellent price, I figured I'd give Google a chance to woo me away.

It arrived today. The screen is great, there's a Zenfolio app ( 3rd party ) which allows me to show my work and it really zips along. So far it's promising. The ipad is now the general property of the household for quick browsing and kiddy gaming duties ( although Lily always did game on it anyway).
