Intensive Care for Hedgie

11am: Mr F has renamed Hedgie 'Spike', and here he/she is tucked up with a hot water bottle, in the bathroom, next to the towel heater, as I have read that all hedgehogs who are out in the daytime are hypothermic and become too confused to save themselves.
After some hours warming up they are supposed rally and go on to eat and drink, but you are not supposed to leave them outside to 'wait and see'. Which is what we did. Which is presumably why poor Spike seems to be in a coma now.
I hope he wasn't poisoned by the farmer spraying his crop near to where Spike lived in the woodpile.
Update, 5.30pm: sadly Spike didn't make it :(
