basking on the barbed wire

Very chilly and dreary start to the day but by the time we set out for a walk the sun was in evidence.  This Sparrow was enjoying the sunshine from his spiky perch.
Desperately trying not to blight my Sunday by thoughts of going back to work tomorrow.  However, I will be very pleased to see Lottie.
