Windmill

Reigate Heath windmill is looking very smart since having new sails in 2002. It is a Grade II listed building and was erected in about 1765. In 1880 the roundhouse at the base was converted into a small chapel where to this day services are held on the 3rd Sunday of every month. You can even be married there, and maybe have your reception in the close by Reigate Heath Golf Club house.
This is where today we were entertained to lunch. The clubhouse is quite small, and much less formal than our usual venue, and we had a very happy chatty lunch.
