Wildflowers

We started school this morning by walking up the road to pick some beautiful wildflowers to draw for our nature lesson. I love the way waste places here become places of natural beauty and colour in Spring. It reminds me of Isaiah 35.1,

"The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad;
the desert shall rejoice and blossom  like the crocus."
