What a difference the weather makes.

We drove to Liden, about 80 minutes away, to spend the evening with some friends, including Roy, who was our host this time. We enjoyed a whisky tasting session, ate dinner, each group preparing one course, and then sat around the fire chatting until late in the evening.  It was very pleasant! 
The village of Liden is high above the river and you can look across the valley to the mountain on the far side.  The weather was a little inclement, but made for an “atmospheric” image.
