Unexpected Visitor

One of my favourite birds the Great Crested Grebe has taken up residence on the village pond in the village where my parents live. It was too good an opportunity to miss, though I really wish I'd had a longer lens or a teleconverter with me. We're unsure how long it'll be there as it's been eating the goldfish which have been put there over the years and had had a population explosion. Either way it was great to see, and of course the ducklings too,
