Warning - archaeologists at work

Here we are back on the Wild Side at an old pile of stones. The group on the right of three are the professionals whilst the rest are us and another pair of glorious amateurs from the mainland. Their thing is round houses and the little yellow flags are theirs and put in place to measure out the site. Controversial as others thought the round house was not that evident and useful discussions followed.
Fascinating to watch the pros at work and to watch them spotting things that had passed us by and to hear their interpretations of the various heaps of stone we have found.
A couple of pints in the evening helped carry that discussion on.
