Watch the birdie

It's been an odd sort of day.

We decided last night to cancel movie night and go into town for a few drinks; Accrington never fails to amuse us! The majority of the places we went to we only managed 3 bars were sparsely populated and had emptied completely by midnight, so we went home.

I found my new favourite tipple; an alcoholic dandelion and burdock. No doubt full of sugar, but it tasted fab!

Given that we didn't have much to drink, we were clear headed when we woke. However, despite things to do, we were both rather lethargic and went back to bed after we'd had brunch!
Finally leaving our pit at 3.30pm do we care? not at all!!! we cracked on with what we'd had planned for the day, namely replacing the missing tiles in the bathroom and making a start on the painting.

In between all that, I cooked dinner and watched the wildlife through the kitchen window. Once again, as soon as I got the camera out, almost all bird activity ceased.
Think I need to hide! :-)
