Turnstone

Often overlooked and sometimes a little drab, at this time of year Turn stones come into their full summer plumage and are a dapper inhabitant of the shore. loads on the beach at Baleshare today, many I suspect on the way through to breeding grounds in Greenland.
A frustrating morning fighting with the lawn mower. Leaving it outside all winter has not helped and in the end I was slightly surprised I got it going at all. It was one of those days when you fix (bodge might be a better word) one thing and then another breaks. Happy days.
