Well that wasn't bad...
What a day. I love London on marathon Sunday. It's one of the only times I recall when the entire city comes together and unites. The weather was fantastic for us runners and despite a bad nights sleep and a bucket full of nerves the race went according to plan. Mile by mile the strategy came off helped massively by family and friends out at various locations. The positive (or negative which ever way you want to look at it really) is that I've qualified as an elite for the next two London marathons along with Boston which is nice.
But forget about times. I ran for my Dad, raised money for the charity that supports the disease he had and if I made him proud then job done.
Was it worth all the miles and pain over the last 8 months? Too right it was..
