Signs of Spring #3.

It was a spectacular day here....plus 16 or so and i sat outside on the porch, in a sundress, reading...it was truly amazing.   Then Terry and i headed down to Englishtown beach for a walk and a picnic.   When we got there a low bank of fog totally engulfed the area!   Also made it a bit chilly!   Terry is great at scouting out the right spot to have a picnic.....so we had our very first spring picnic: beer, wine, cheese and crackers....in the warmth and protected area looking out at the scene above.  It was wonderful.

In the evening we went to a very special event...a book launch for a fabulous book about the artists of the St. Anne's Bay area on Cape Breton.   We had music, comedy, speeches, singing, great food and wine of course.  It was one of those events where i looked around at all these wonderfully gifted folks and felt blessed to be living among them!  it was a truly fabulous evening.   We also raised $10,000 for the St. Anne's Bay Health Centre!!!  i love those fund raising events.
