Book ending a lovely normal Sunday with a walk with my two older boys. It was interesting chat, they both said how they'd like to live in the country when they grow up, the middle boy saying he'd like a house made of wood and that he'd be satisfied in life with his mountain bike and fishing rod. He reluctantly allowed his big brother to share the house with him as he reckoned he might be able to grow potatoes and "handle the crops" so they could have chips with their fish. The big brother said he'd only live in a wooden house if it was "sturdy" and so a discussion about architecture and engineering began.

While my lovely husband was out cycling with the bandits this morning my boys and I had a lazy start to the day. One watched match of the day, one played with cars and the other stayed in bed and red a book.

After church my middle boy had a football match and since it was at home we all went to watch.

In the afternoon my lovely husband cut the grass and did some much needed work in the front garden. The footballer kept kicking balls and the oldest boy successfully managed to get the youngest to nap.

All in all a good day, but the wee dander and chat at the end, that was the best bit.
