Leaving junior school for good

Today was daughter #2's last day at junior school. There was a special leaver's assembly at lunchtime. It was quite sad. This was also my goodbye to school. No more kids at junior school. At 2pm, there was a party on the field for the kids. My daughter was very upset and was very tearful. As soon as the bouncy castles were up and the foam machine came out, she was smiling again.
It finished at 4pm. She went to her friend's for tea and I came back home with the intention of packing for our trip to France tomorrow. I didn't do any packing and was at the pub at 6:30pm. We came home at 10pm and have managed to shove a few items of clothing into a bag! Packing to be resumed in the morning (at the crack of dawn).
