The Remarkables & Kawarau River

The walking group drove almost to Queenstown today and walked along the Kawarau River in the shadow of the Remarkables. Hoping for a sunny aspect on the way back but it only happened in glimpses.

Had my eye on the row of Poplars in extra for quite a while before reaching them only to find that they were fenced in!
