Poor Mrs Duck

A very kind lady found this duck and her brood walking along the road this morning. I followed as she guided them through the traffic and into the pond in the park. However, as the duck entered the pond all the drakes ( who are now the only pond residents) mobbed her and tried to attack her. A small crowd had gathered and were now rooting for Mrs Duck and shouted and waved their arms to deter the drakes. When I left she was sitting on the edge of the pond with her brood. Will check if she is still there tomorrow.
