Mystery and Benevolence

Day 4 in New York. First diner coffee of the trip - so good. Then a wander through my favourite neighbourhood (the Upper West Side), paying close attention to stationery shops. And I popped into my favourite small gallery, the Museum of American Folk Art, just off Lincoln Square. The exhibition was "Mystery and Benevolence: Masonic and Odd Fellows Folk". Fascinating, sinister and downright weird.
