A bluebell world

Thank you for all your good wishes for Gavin, he is feeling much more recovered today and is not even limping. Other than his sore back he had no other problems, no blisters, rash or lost toenails as many other runners suffer from. He was upset to hear today that a 29 year old friend of a colleague at work who also ran the marathon, dropped dead from a heart attack at 23 miles - he was a fit Royal Marine, but it seems he had an undetected heart problem.

So the last boy has ended his Easter holidays, as Luke left for Durham yesterday. The house is much quieter and I think even Murdoch is missing the boys. I have a busy week ahead which is good, so that I don't miss them too much.
