Gospel Blues . . .

I was invited back to my home town to support a fund-raising concert this evening. I left to further my studies in the early 80's and since then a whole new generation has sprung up, singing the new songs in place of our 'old' ones and new characters have come in filling the void left by those I remembered from yore . . . I'm feeling more and more like my dad!!

This delightful singer wowed us with her vocals on 3 blues-tinged gospel numbers and I must mention her backing group who complemented her so well on 'God Bless the Child' and 'His Eye Is On The Sparrow.' Fabulous!
