The allotment is coming along well

despite the dips in the weather.  Most pleasing are the fat shoots of asparagus that will be ready for cutting next weekend. My helper today was the blackbird in the extra - he was so attentive to all sounds and he almost beat my robin to some tasty morsels, but not quite
