"Since the wheel"?

I'm not 100% sure about that, but, for my money it's a pretty good invention for the price.
Herself discovered/tried a recipe recently calling for Pineapple. 
It's not quite one of those things you buy, use 1/2 doz times and then hide in a drawer; but it doesn't get a lot of use.
Very useful when it does though.
