Wood, Bark, Owl Feather

I put the maple slab we bought yesterday on the coffee table it's going to, eventually displace, to get an idea of how it will look. C and I agreed that it's a bit too long. I'm sure I'll find a use for the cut-off.

C arranged the owl feather and curly bark on the slab, and I thought it would make a nice blip. She didn't want to use it but was happy to let me do so.
