Beneath the Surface

Just beneath the surface.
It seems so many things in life are like that.
For a multitude of reasons, many people don't say what they really think/feel.
And for a multitude of reasons, many people don't perceive the nuance, even in themselves.
I try not to let myself think about the puzzle.
There are too many possible reasons and there is some truth in each.

So just beneath the surface is a turtle.
It looked a little like a skeleton to me.
But it's a wonderful turtle.
My brain likes that. :)
