Bubbles for Ali

Tonight it was a memorial for Ali.
It was a testament to her that an overspill hall was filled to the brim with parents, children and pupils past and present who all loved her. We sang, danced, laughed through gritted teeth and the kids blew bubbles for her.
Apart from the fact that she was definitely the most amazing, intuitive, inspirational, crazy (prone to performing cartwheels in class when she was really happy) teacher I've ever had the fortune to work with, she was my friend and I will miss her very, very much.
