sleepover

Eve and I are having a sleepover in the attic while Daddy and Grandad conduct top secret birthday business downstairs. We've had our midnight feast (at 8pm), we've listed all of our favourite things and now I'm lying in the dark waiting for her to nod off. Her list of favourites was pretty awesome:

Dinner: beans on toast;
Drink: juice (I asked what kind, but the response was "juice kind");
Colour: pink and purple;
Animal: flamingo or monkey;
Song: "fly a kite song";
Body part: heart;
Toy: Holly Willoughbunny;
Film: Mary Poppins;
Outfit: party dress.

Lovely time with the girl.
