Cuteness, cosiness and a missile launcher

Can't believe I was allowed to take that telescope as hand luggage on a flight back from Japan twenty years ago. It does bear more than a passing resemblance to a missile launcher. I must look either trustworthy or like an astronomer...I was wearing a monocle.
