The Carrousel in "The Catcher In the Rye"

I'm grateful for my parents who let me make mistakes and learn fro my mistakes.

When I see this photo in my photo library when I was scrolling down, I immediately think about the carrousel metaphor in "The Catcher In the Rye" which we read this year. At the end of the book Holden let her sister to ride the carrousel without helping her to hold the hook, because he thought that she should learn it herself and if she fell down, she should know how to get up. I agree with this idea of raising kids and I'm really grateful for being bred up with this principle.
