I attended a meeting of the South a East Scotland Area Support Team: the volunteers who help manage the children's hearings system locally.

Administration and other support are provided by the local authority, maintaining the links with local communities that are a key feature of the hearings system.

The clerk to the AST is Jackie and the volunteers wanted to mark her help and support over the past 3 years and presented her with this bunch of flowers. As the photo shows she was very pleased: deservedly so.
