Mapei Day 2012 on Stelvio!

This is kinda a test day for me. It's an event (will I be thrown off the mountain by the organisers), and how many people come out for these cycling specific days. Bit of a learning exercise.

So me and crappy (the back up lens) had a very cold morning finding out. I froze to death.

3,000 cyclists. And 5,500 fotos in 2 hours. The poor camera could barely keep up (and in places failed to keep up), crappy kept going though...it's still a rubbish lens and I'm still deeply embarrassed to have it on the camera.

After 2-3 hours of the cold I finished up and went indoors.....

The guy to the right hasn't lost his bike, but really is running up faster than some people can cycle up!
