Rare Ray.....

.....of sunshine today highlighted this orange and black stink bug (Agonoscelis rutila - or Horehound stink bug).  The host is meant to be the horehound weed, upon which it can cause great damage. 

I've seen a few of these bugs around, but not in epidemic proportions.  This one is on a salvia leaf.
