The Cairn Hotel

One of the big hotels in Harrogate, 135 bedrooms all with en suite facilities.  

Originally a nineteenth century house with large gardens, apparently the home of a local vicar.  In 1880 it was sold and became a hotel.   In 1898 the price per week was £3.17s. 0d or £5. 5s. 0d depending on the type of the room. 
Prices today for a 3 night stay in May vary from £251 to £333.
