Be Careful What You Wish For.....

...or it might just come true...

Earlier this week I was whining about the oppressive heat we've had here for the past few weeks and wishing we could borrow a little of the rain that's been falling, it seems forever, over the other side of the pond this year.

We had some rain yesterday, and I got up this morning and found that not only was it still raining, but will be for the rest of the day, so our plans are thwarted.

See the big shrub beside the railing, the one that's now growing into the stairwell? Today's project was to give it a major trim. We even bought a new set of heavy duty hedge trimmers last night so we could get started straight away this morning.

I guess we have to switch to Plan B, pick a closet, any closet and attempt to clear it out. Ugh!
