Disruption

After an early night I was awake in the middle the night communicating with #2 son and keeping up with Helen. Then when it was morning proper a swim. What I saw them was a portent of things to come.

Olivia was much more settled today after her mum left, mainly because her dad worked in the bedroom, out of sight out of mind.

I did some housework, dusting, cleaning and tidying, while she chalked, everything. She also heloed me backblip! Lunch on the balcony and then to Jaya for food for tonight. It is SO much easier now there is a supermarket 5 mins away, esp when the lightweight buggy was left in the boot.

Then home and to the pool, except the pools are out of order (the water was cloudy this morning) so we had a swing on the hanging chairs, visited the fish and then came back upstairs so she could sit in the tub and splash on the balcony.

I made dinner, chicken rending, delayed as we couldn't find the rice, J Skyped with an update and then disaster, Olivia slid off a chair and smashed into the floor. An egg sized bump and many tears ensued, but she ate her dinner.

However after a busy day with no sleep she is in her own bed, for now. The adults played Jenga and nibbled. Halfway through.
