Colourful in the Caribbean.
Today is our last day in the Caribbean. We weren't due to arrive in St Kitts around 11 so we had a lovely formal breakfast in the Grande. It's mom's favourite reasturant and they don't normally do breakfast so she was very happy.
We all got off the ship and got in a taxi to do a tour of the island. We saw several monkeys, tasted sugar cane and saw all the main sights of the island. Charl, Gem Stu and I then headed to the strip. We thought it was going to be a lively area with shops, bars and a beach but it turned out to be one shop and a few mainly empty bea h bars. We still had a laugh though.
We headed back on to the ship with plenty of time (didn't want mom to worry) and managed a cheeky slice of pizza.
Back to the room to get ready for dinner. Tonight we all decided to dress in Hawaiian shirts and colourful clothes, but from reaction of some of the people on the ship you would have thought we were in fancy dress! Another lovely dinner in Silks (Asian cuisine) followed by a Beatles tribute concert. We also checked out th wine bar, but were carefully to stick to the cheaper wines as some of them were $700 a bottle!
