On Piccadilly
....You will find St James Church, one of the few churches built by Sir Christopher Wren outside of the City of London, which was opened in 1684. Today it is a very welcoming church to the community, and although it is an Anglican church it 'celebrates human diversity, regardless of spirituality. ethnicity and sexual orientation'.
It is well known in the area for providing a refuge to the homeless, a warm place for them to stay during the day where they are allowed to sleep unless there is a service being conducted. Today they had a free drop in counselling caravan for those in need of support. It is good to see this on a busy street in London.
Sunny today but still cold - who chased away our warm spring weather?
An extra of spring in St James Square.
