Tongli

I went to Tongli with some friends today. It's a small water town about fifteen kilometers outside of Suzhou. There are canals and bridges scattered throughout the town.

It was a hot day so we spent most of the days wandering through the narrow streets, passing over bridges, and trying to find out next air conditioned building. We didn't make it to any of the gardens in Tongli but we did make it to the Sex Museum there which is the only sex museum in all of China. They have some interesting statues mixed in their garden area.

It was nice to get out of Suzhou for a day and even nicer that the rain clouds stayed away for the day.
