I had a meeting in Edinburgh today followed by lunch with a work pal. She's an Edinburgh girl but used to work in Glasgow. She was musing that the cityscape is stunning out east, but the people are better in the west... I think I agree.

This was from the slow train back to Central. Given all the fuss about Queen St tunnel closure the trip out at 8.01 was effortless and involved no queuing. The train back was going to take even longer than the cross country one to Central. At least I managed to get a pile of work done.
