I am SO happy with how this picture turned out. When I was home over Thanksgiving, I flipped through a book of photography and it got me thinking about planning pictures. For the most part, when I take pictures, I just walk around with my camera and a subject or setting in mind and see what happens. I want to start walking around with an image in mind and then find myself bent on making it happen.

This photo of Lauren's hands was totally planned and I'm extremely happy with how it looks. I also found that since I already had what I wanted in mind, it was really easy to give direction to my model. Live and learn, I guess. :)
