This weekend's ARR Crain Cup sees the first Thistle appearance at Firhill of the pre season.

For a change there's an abundance of optimism around this season, Jackie Mac has made some good signings, and not having the rugby tearing up our pitch will hopefully make a big difference.

A great showing and comfortable 2-0 win against a Celtic XI certainly won't dampen the optimism... Now to see whether it's Everton or Airdrie in the final tomorrow.
