Mittens- the Verdict

Lost and found. Took ages to track down Mittens the cat hiding in No1 son's bedroom. Not that No1 son lives here much and the door is supposed to be kept shut to keep the cats off the bed.

It's 6 months now since we adopted  two 10yr old ragdoll cats.  The verdict- 
Pros- they are very affectionate and do not chase birds
Cons - they have long hair and small brains. Well one of them has a small brain. He has not yet worked out how to use the cat flap because he paws at the top of the flap instead of the bottom and has been seen using the same technique unsuccessfully to get into the oven; I guess the door looks a bit like a giant cat flap?

I am never going to have a long haired cats again. Give me a short haired moggie who might wander further but has a brain, is a bit more independent and does not need constant brushing.
