Golden Boy

It's been another day of intermittent snow and sun, although not quite as cold as yesterday.

I was struck by the light on the Old College dome and especially Golden Boy as I cycled home along Nicolson Street after meeting some colleagues for a drink after work.

There's also something timeless about this scene. Older photographs of this street pubilshed from time to time on the Lost Edinburgh Facebook page reinforce how little parts of Nicolson Street and South Bridge have changed in over 100 years.
