A day at the office ended very sharp in order to get home, kitted out in kilt and black tie, and head off to the awards for the Young Scot of 2016.

As ever hugely inspiring with all the finalists meriting recognition. There must have been around 500 people in the hall making a great deal of noise. Not as much as Nina Nesbitt or The Lafontaines. All well hosted by Edith Bowman.

One of the more surreal elements was a large mascot bull - Hamish from Scotch beef - viewing the screen before making a presentation.

The extra is of a prolific blipper - Louise - who leads Young Scot. She was one of the people who introduced me to Blipfoto. As I recall one of my first regular blips over three years ago - April 20, 2013, was of the PS Waverley the morning after the night of the young Scot awards 2013.
