Grass snake

My cat, Susie, had been playing with this little grass snake. When I tried to get her photo with it, she ran away. I don't know if it was stunned or injured, but it was patient with me taking its picture. 

Today was really pretty- blue sky and moderate temperature. It was a pleasure to be outside.
