The Way of Colour

Sunshine

The local weather station has recorded 22C today.
I took Maeve the Deerhound for her walk before lunch to miss the highest temperatures and we were rewarded with a blue sky with hardly a cloud to be seen. More cloud has appeared since, but it is a lovely day.

Golf from Lytham, or perhaps I should say Royal Lytham and St Annes, on telly again this afternoon. The pro golfers call this 3rd day of a tournament moving day, as they try to get up the leaderboard and into position for the final day tomorrow.

Plenty of people about this morning once we reached the cycle path. People out on bicycles, and people walking with and without dogs. Fewer people on the beach, but there were some people walking along slowly, just enjoying being put and about on the sand in the sunshine.

I was heading back for the boat that provided yesterday's blip, but no luck. It was covered in some sort of cloth today. The end hut door was open and a workbench had been brought out and a circular saw was in action with two men in attendance. Everyone was too busy for us to get close and have a look at the boat again. Another time.

I seem to have stumbled into an unintentional series of blips with a predominance of blue grey tones, so I thought I'd keep that going today and looked for things of suitable colour to post. I chose one that had both the right tonal range, a little drama, and a feeling of the bright sun :-)

The leaders have just started their round at Lytham, so I must be off and settle in for a lazy afternoon's viewing. I have a custard doughnut for a suitable tea break !
