Autumn Down on the Farm

It has been another stunning day, not a cloud in the sky, and no wind.  This morning before I went to morning tea with my Photography friends, I headed up the Cardrona Valley, to see what was happening with the poplars.  They are at their golden best.  This is a typical pastoral scene in the area.

Lovely that SightSinging and D called in to see us at morning tea time.  I am sure they had a lovely trip down the Waitaki Valley to Oamaru.

After lunch I went and played Croquet, only 3 of us there today.  We did enjoy the 3 games we had, and loved the warm sunshine on our backs.
