Monster snowflakes

I was going to photograph my little appetisers of rye bread with soused herring and pickled ginger, and the others with beetroot hummus and walnut, but then Mr C called me from my kitchen duties to look at the huge snowflakes. A year ago today I blipped bluebells - they're not flowering yet this year.

Back to kitchen duties - spinach, egg, feta and pine nut pie, crushed potatoes for main then Chocolate and Avocado mousse ( yes avocado - it is really nice) with strawberries soaked in Strawberry vodka. We have friends coming round, trying to catch up on social life before we get Ella and Nathaniel for the bank holiday weekend while their parents are in Palma. Next week I'll be in a darkened room.
