Gone to seed.......

We slept ok......woke early though to a cloudy morning that soon turned into a wet, blustery cold day!

We went to get the morning paper.....had a coffee at home, then drove to one of the local market gardens as hub wanted to get his,cucumber plants in before we go off shortly.

We decided to have lunch there too........ordered two chicken sandwiches with side salad. After I sat down I calculated the cost and realised the lady had undercharged me, so I went back to the till, explained to another lady I'd ordered two chicken sandwiches but was concerned she had only charged me for one. It should have been £14+ with a pot of tea not the £8+........however the younger lady who attempted to work out what the shortfall was on a bit of paper, came up with £12.69 :-/ in the meantime I'd worked it out in my head that I owed them £5.49! When our sandwiches were brought to the table, we got two,tuna sandwiches.......by which time I couldn't be bothered to go back to the counter again!! It was very nice....just not what we ordered :-/. How difficult can it be :-(

We went into the large poly tunnel afterwards for hubs cucumber plants when I spotted these sacks of seed potatoes....blip done, after all, it was tipping it down outside.

Hubs throat is still sore...he's quite quiet......I don't feel too bad today, so we are going to venture to the quiz, it will get us out for a few hours ;-) have checked with our friends, they are ok with our company ;-)
