Mike191435, this is for you!  These bracelets are made by the daughter of one of my good friends.  They live in California and she is married to a law enforcement officer in the Sheriff's Department.  She runs a business where she makes and sells these and many other bracelets made with various beads.  The thin blue line....represents  law enforcement in our world.  It's a kind of thank you to police officers who keep us safe in our communities and ultimately are the line between order and chaos in society.  For me, it's a reminder of all the good they do every day that never makes the headlines.
