Acrobatic Alpine Chough

We were hoping to see one of the bearded vultures that have been introduced into the Diablerets glacier area but all We saw were 2 choughs. They are so fast moving, I can't tell you how many shots I took to get this one! (I really need that f4, 300mm lens with the 1.4 extension tube to do bird shots justice, has anyone out there got one?) This is just not sharp enough. Otherwise it was the perfect morning's skiing in mainly good powder at the end of the season - going back tomorrow. We are so lucky to have a fabulous mountain playground to share with the choughs.
